I painted this scene for my son; a high school cross country and track runner who has continued with his passion for running several years after having graduated high school. Andy now competes in our town's annual half marathon.
The 1:25 on the clock is his PR, (personal record) for the race. If you would like to have your PR or goal time on the clock just send me an email at karynrobinson@cox.net and we can discuss the details.
I have so much admiration for runners. Your will power and dedication is to be admired. You brave souls who run in all sorts of weather. Anyone who can tackle a 13.1 or 26.2 mile course deserves some respect. So here you go...this one's for you!
